President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to receive visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel and International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde in Jakarta on Tuesday.
“President SBY will receive German Chancellor Merkel on July 10, and Lagarde on July 10 as well,” presidential spokesman Teuku Faizasyah said in a text message on Thursday.
Faizasyah declined to reveal what would be on the agendas for the two separate meetings.
“We’re finalizing, preparing materials [for the meetings],” he said.
AFP earlier reported that Lagarde would be in Jakarta on July 8-10, as part of her Asian tour from July 6-12. She is also scheduled to meet with officials in Japan and Thailand.
Faizasyah added that Yudhoyono was scheduled on July 9 to receive Czech President Vaclav Klaus at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
