Mandala Airlines will increase flights between Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur and between Jakarta and Medan in response to rising demand, the Indonesian airline announced on Wednesday.
“To meet the rising needs of businessmen and tourists on these routes,
the Indonesian airline is launching a new daily schedule between
Jakarta and the Malaysian capital with two flights,” a Mandala statement
The airline used to fly between Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur once a day.
Flights connecting Jakarta and Medan will also double, to 14 flights a week, the press released said.
A one way ticket from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur starts at Rp 249,900 ($26). Fights between Jakarta and Medan start at Rp 199,000, the company said.
